I am very honored and happy to participate in the academic workshop of Cambridge University and Imperial College of Technology this winter.
The teacher's accent is clear and easy to understand, the speed of speaking is just right, and it is easy to keep up with the progress of the course. The content includes academic writing, the process and specification of academic research, presentation and presentation skills, and critical reading and thinking. It covers the aspects of academic research, and the teaching methods are highly interactive and participatory. However, the content of each part of the course is relatively lack of in-depth academic research or paper writing cases.
There are many tasks assigned each time and the time is relatively short, so it is sometimes difficult for individuals to keep up. The course materials and auxiliary course materials are sufficient, and the overall experience is good
After rich group cooperation, discussion and demonstration, I have a high degree of participation in the course, can deeply explore academic issues, and put forward more questions, while cultivating the ability of English academic expression.
The content of the course is detailed, and the overall study of academic research and thesis writing has been carried out, covering a wide range, improving the ability of academic criticism and critical thinking, and obtaining the thinking experience from multiple perspectives.
In the process of participating in the project, I sometimes completed the task in a hurry or in a time conflict due to the scheduling problem, but I got a lot of help from my classmates and teachers. I think there is room for improvement in the number and time of task settings. I hope we can set a more adequate preparation and completion time for the task.But on the whole, it was a very meaningful experience for me. These gains will have a profound impact on my future.
