I am very honored to be selected and participate in this project. I hope that in this project, I can understand the trends of international philosophical research, find the similarities and differences between Chinese and foreign research directions, and continue to consolidate the professional foundation of ethics, and exercise my English listening and expression skills.
In order to cherish this opportunity and better exercise myself, I made some preparations before the project started: first, I asked the students who had participated in the academic exchange project in advance how to better complete the project; Secondly, review academic English knowledge and be familiar with academic English terms; Here, I read the English textbook Ethics of the Oxford General Reader series to understand the status of foreign ethics research; Finally, I read some papers on domestic ethics to prepare for international exchanges.
In this project, the teachers of the project side carried out a total of six lectures, describing the ideological realization of ethics and the five main viewpoints of the ethics community. Detailed in the course, the explanation is from simple to deep, and the course setting adopts a "total score" structure, which describes five mainstream ethical trends. In teaching, teachers have strong affinity, pay attention to giving every student equal opportunities to communicate and ask questions, and pay attention to student status, which has benefited me a lot; In addition, the professor often gives students guidance on the scientific research of the thesis, especially gives appropriate suggestions on the topic selection and structure; At the same time, the curriculum is organized in an orderly manner, and the project party has teachers to remind the curriculum progress, which is very responsible.
The biggest harvest of this course is to make me realize the similarities and differences between Chinese and foreign philosophy teaching and scientific research directions and ideas - I asked the teacher in the class some different contents from the project lectures in the ethics teaching of our school, which also made me deeply realize the importance of Professor Jin Yunfeng's teaching of "learning foreign philosophy research methods"; In addition, I have exercised my English communication ability and listening ability, and mastered more academic English vocabulary; At the same time, it also made me have a further understanding of ethics and formed a good habit of reading foreign literature.
