I always wanted to find a place that would challenge me to grow as a professional and as a change-maker, a place where my voice would be heard and I could freely discuss struggles and ideas. This program turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.
First of all, I read a lot of English literature in this program. This not only improved my English reading level, but also helped me to master more philosophical English vocabulary. It lets me know more about the basic views of British academic circles on German classical philosophy. In the process of reading literature every week, my reading speed is gradually improved. In addition, through the comparative reading of Chinese and English books, I can better understand the related issues discussed by German classical philosophy.
Secondly, through the discussion with the tutors and classmates in class, I found that even for the same problem, everyone can have different opinions. After I speak in each class, the teacher will ask some questions. In order to answer these questions, I will read more literature and think deeply after class. So after the whole program ended, I got a great harvest.
Finally, through the writing and discussion of English essays, the tutor helped us dig out our academic interests and explained the writing norms of English papers, which will be very helpful for our future academic development.
