Biography
Sun Litian, male, born in Shulan, Jilin Province in August 1952, Ph.D. in Philosophy. He graduated from the Philosophy Department of Jilin University in January 1982, and stayed in the Philosophy Teaching and Research Room of Marxist-Leninist Teaching and Researching Department for teaching. He received a Ph.D. in philosophy in 1993 and was promoted as a professor in 1994. In 1999, he was selected as a Ph.D. supervisor for Marxist Philosophy. He used to be the director of the Marxist-Leninist Teaching and Research Department of Jilin University, and the dean of the School of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Jilin University. He is currently the deputy director, professor, and Ph.D. supervisor of the Center for Fundamentals of Philosophy, Jilin University. He is also an evaluation expert of the National Social Science Fund, member of the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, chairman of the Jilin Philosophy Society, member of the standing committee of the Jilin Union of Social Sciences Circles, expert of the planning group of the Jilin Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Fund, member of the philosophical group of the Jilin Provincial Degree Committee, vice chairman of the Teaching Committee of Jilin University.
