Biography

Xu Xiaohai, male, was born in January 1969 in Changchun City, Jilin Province. He is a Ph.D., professor, and master supervisor of the School of Philosophy and Sociology, Jilin University.


Research Interests

Research on Social Security System and Social Management, Social Insurance Theory and Practice, System Justice Theory, Poverty Alleviation for the Disability, etc.


Projects

He hosted the Jilin Provincial Social Science Fund Project Building a Harmonious Society Based on Daily Life, the Jilin University Doctoral Research Startup Fund ProjectSociological Research on the Issue of Sharing Social Development Achievements by Vulnerable Groups, the subject China Disabled Persons’ Career Theory and Practice of China Disabled Persons’ Federation-Research on Poverty Alleviation Policies for the Disabled at Home and Abroad. He was employed by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jilin Province as the Chinese experts for the Sino-French cooperation project Survey on the Health, Aging and Retirement Status of the Elderly in Jilin Province, the Sino-European social security cooperation project The Survey of Customers’ Satisfaction in Jilin Province Social Pension Application Process and wrote research reports for these two projects.
