I have benefited a lot from this course. Every time I show my reading notes in class and exchange views with my classmates and professors, I have a deeper understanding of the subject matter of the course.The professor will enlighten us and guide our thinking and give detailed answers to our questions.What’s more,the professor attaches great importance to class interaction which makes sure everyone engaged in the discussion.The topics chosen by the professors are useful for understanding social policy in different countries and for understanding social policy in general.These subjects include social welfare, the field of education, social equality, gender differences, spatial sociology and so on.As for me ,the most obvious progress is the improvement of my English listening and oral English ability.Pure English teaching is a challenge for me before，but it is this process that brings me great harvest as well as advance. In the process of the course, I also completed an English paper writing, using English to express some views on China's Family Planning policy.Through the feedback from the teacher and the excellent presentation of the students, I have made great progress in the writing and presentation of my reading notes. What impressed me the most was the professor's discussion on the relationship between artificial intelligence (tools) and humans in the course,we will find that with every technological change, some of the existing positions will be replaced, followed by the need for new positions.The teacher's suggestions for revising the articles we wrote during the academic support conference also benefited me greatly.Through these meetings, I have gained an updated understanding of the structure of paper writing.My way of thinking and writing have greatly improved.Thanks very much for providing us with such a great learning opportunity offered by our department.This is a rewarding and unforgettable experience！
