I was deeply impressed by this academic cultivation program. The program I attended was the philosophy of mind course at University of Cambridge. The course is well organized, and a teacher helped us make a good connection with Cambridge before the course. There are two other students studying philosophy of mind with me. There are not many students, so the tutor took care of each student in class. The professional quality of the tutor is very profound, his course rhythm is very good, and he is very patient with students. We adopted the online teaching method. We used zoom platform to broadcast the class, and padlet platform to obtain information and communicate with the tutor. In addition, there was an academic writing tutor who helped us with the essay. During the class, someone was responsible for taking notes, so you can review. Also, after class, they ask you to give evaluation and feedback on the course so that they can adjust the course for the next time. The philosophy of mind program was divided into five topics, including aspects of the mind, dualism, materialism, functionalism, and the problem of consciousness. In each class, the tutor presupposed the position for himself of the current school of philosophy being taught, and the entire class was organized around that school or theme, so that you can have a deep understanding of that school or theme. On the whole, I have gained a lot from the program. It can help you develop your learning ability, researching ability, innovation ability and correct way of thinking, help you improve your English level and communication skills, and lay a solid foundation for developing a solid philosophical accomplishment and a lofty vision of the world.
