We visited Seoul University, Li Hua Women's University, Yan Shi University, Hong Yi University and Cheng Jun Guan University during our seven day trip in South Korea. These universities are among the top universities in Seoul. It's a great honor for me to have the opportunity to visit them.
We also visited a nursing home and a family welfare hall, which are guanyue district nursing home and Shanyi welfare hall under the jurisdiction of guanyue District, both of which are established based on the support of the government. This activity has a very close relationship with our profession. Through the field visit, we can get a more intuitive understanding of the situation of Korean pension welfare.
During this period, we attended two lectures. The first lecture was given by Professor Park Jingshu, Department of sociology, Seoul University. The theme was "analysis of the causes of low fertility".The second session was hosted by Ms. Soo Kyung Nam, a Korean American scholar who is engaged in legal career. The theme of her speech was "American refugee policy in the trump era: changes and impacts on women and children".
During these seven days in South Korea, I have a deep feeling. The old saying "Reading ten thousand books is not as good as walking ten thousand miles" makes sense. Next, I will make a good deposit of my income during my stay in South Korea, and work harder and concentrate on my study.
