A great achievement is the discovery of foreign scholars: William Maker and Steven Houlgate, who study Hegel very thoroughly and explain profound theories in simple language. Their articles and books, such as the Hegel reader, is very good at studying Hegel's second-hand literature and is comprehensive and detailed. In fact, it is not necessary to read the literature from the beginning to the end. If we can read the problems and criticisms under the guidance of professional teachers, the efficiency will be very high. In this way, we can have a good understanding of the views of several philosophers on the same problem; In particular, I have understood the several important Hegel's ideas, although so not many, but very beneficial to my learning. And I feel that English literature reading is not as difficult as I think. I even feel that I can read English literature directly without deliberately learning grammar and vocabulary first. In the process of reading, it is easy to master the repeated professional vocabulary. One discovery is that English literature may be easier to understand than Chinese literature for the same book. In this learning process, I have also built up my confidence in learning English and this major, so I feel that I am not as stupid as I think.
