I have learned a lot over the past two months in the Oxford Project. What impressed me most is the academic freedom which I can experience in the project. When I talked with my tutor,I always felt that I were talking with an old friend. You can share whatever you what to share regardless of your identity and your knowledge base.At the same time, you must show respect for others’ thought and work.Maybe that is the most important characteristics of the philosophy including equality ,creativity and critical spirit. What’s more,I feel the challenging part of the tutorial is the preparation. If you want to raise valuable questions in the tutorial ,you must think a lot during the process of reading,And in order to achieve this,it’s a must for you to read again and again. As to the concrete learning process,I see the rigorous attitude of the British and popular Western methods of scholarship, which is the method of analytical philosophy.Based on this,I have a better understanding of the linguistic shift in the history of philosophy and learn about researchers about Western Marxism like Cohen. However,I still realize that i have a lot of problems to deal with.First of all,i still have great difficulty using vocabulary and have trouble exercising my spoken English.Secondly,I can’t do through research on the whole text and reflect on more details when I read the English essays.Thirdly,it’s hard for me to express myself clearly when I am trying to write my essays. All of these are the important places that I have to work hard on on the following two years. To sum up,the journey to the truth is a fantastic trip, the accompany with wise friends and teachers is excellent.I will not stop here and strive on during my life.
